Quantities and lead times

Stock cloth is sold from three metres and ships within five working days. Bespoke warps carry a minimum of eighty metres and a lead time of eight to ten weeks from approved sample.

Tolerances

Finished weight is quoted plus or minus five per cent, and finished width plus or minus two centimetres. Wool cloth is supplied un-sanforised unless specified; allow up to three per cent shrinkage on the length at first wash.

Dye lots

Natural dyestuffs vary between lots and we do not correct them. Where a scheme must match, order the full quantity in one lot and tell us the drop so that pieces are cut in sequence.

Returns

Uncut stock cloth may be returned within fourteen days in original condition. Cut lengths and bespoke warps are not returnable except where the cloth is faulty, in which case tell us before cutting — a fault found after cutting cannot be assessed.

Suitability

Where a cloth is specified for an application we have advised against in writing, the mill accepts no liability for its performance in that use.
